Poggio al Palio is the ancient farm Troscino, an exclusive Holiday Home close to Siena in the beautiful countryside of Val di Merse Natural Park, where there are just 4 private apartments (named Toro, Daino, Nibbio and Leone) and 2 romantic cottages (named Ibis and Oca). If you are looking for a pleasant and elegant place, not too far from the sea and close to the most important city of Tuscany, this is the best place for you! We are situated on the summit of a hill surrounded by olive trees and a wooded area, so we have a beautiful view on the country side and an excellent supply of Extra Virgin Olive Oil. In the heart of the main house we have some quiet big apartments (named Toro, Daino, Nibbio and Leone) divided in two separate properties, they are ideal for family with children especially because they are nearby to the swimming pools! They are spacious, elegant and comfortable with nice furniture, new but rustic like Tuscany’s way!

Apartment is endowed with autonomous heating, kitchen with oven (except Goose and Ibis), refrigerator with freezer, television, washer (except Kite, Fallow and Taurus, they have a lavandry in common) and fireplace. All the apartments have a common area so constituted: Important saloon (40 Mqs) with fireplace, living rooms, room reading, services. The garden of the apartments is equipped with barbecue, gazebo, tables and slacker.

It is situated for many of the most important cities, towns and attractions of the area: Siena, San Galgano Abbey or Petriolo’s thermal water (twenty minutes), Montalcino, Montepulciano, Pienza and San Quirico d'Orcia (less than one hour), San Gimignano, Maremma country and the sea coast are also within easy reach (one hour). In one hour and half you can be in Florence, Pisa or Arezzo because we are centrally situated in the amazing Principality of Tuscany! We are on a hill's pick surrounded by olive trees and a wooded area so we have a beautiful view on the country side and a good production of Extra Virgin Olive Oil. In 5 minutes you can go by car in a little village named Casciano di Murlo on the hills in front of us where there is a little shop/bakery; in 15 minutes you can found some different kind of restaurants and in another village named San Rocco a Pilli there are many shops like supermarket, bakery, butcher... Near to the structure there are many place where you can go with our convention because you stay here with us: a tennis court (2km), two horseback schools (14km) and a wellness centre (20km)!
